The Skypad is a wireless, portable betting tablet that’s unique to the gaming industry. This is a handheld betting unit on which any game can be played, bets are placed in exactly the same way as Touchscreen terminals, with chip values and betting options all operator configurable.

Everything Touchscreen terminals can do, the Skypad can match, except this time the player is completely free to roam around the location using the latest in wi-fi mobile technology. This product will be configured to comply with jurisdictional regulations.

Results can be relayed from live wheels, automated wheels, random number generator etc. and sent to the server, which sends the results to the device which has a wi-fi transmitter. For set-up purposes, we can survey each location to see how many wi-fi devices are required to tailor the Skypad system to each individual site. If a player passes out of range the Skypad states on-screen that communication has been lost, however, as all the information is stored on the server, every transaction remains safe and secure. There is also a tracking device inside each Skypad unit that will set off an alarm if the player takes it outside the boundaries of the building. And if the player goes into an environment where gaming is not licensed, then the tracking device ensures that communication is terminated with the server and that bets can not be placed.

The Skypad is cost effective in comparison to full size terminals and the operator can add extra units to the gaming floor easily, saving money and space. It is also easy to use needing only a quick two hour recharge to give players a betting device that is completely personal to them.
